shipping policy

we're a small-batch, handmade brand  - thank you for your patience while we package your goodness with care! 

PROCESSING TIME:

all orders are processed with in 7-14 days (excluding weekends and holidays).  you'll receive a confirmation email with tracking info once your order ships.

SHIPPING METHOD:

we currently ship via USPS and UPS.  standard shipping delivery estimates are 3-7 business days. after dispatch, depending on your location.

SHIPPING RATES:

we currently offer $8 flat-rate shipping on all domestic orders.  this helps us cover packaging, shipping, and carrier costs - no surprises at checkout.

WHY $8 SHIPPING:

because we prioritize eco packaging and shipping protection on every order, we've adjusted our flat rate to $8 to help cover those costs while still keeping it affordable.

LOCAL PICK UP

we currently offer local pick up by appointment at tim hortons in alden, ny.  once your order is ready, you'll receive an email or text to coordinate a pick up time that works for you.

LOST OR DELAYED PACKAGES:

once your package leaves our hands, it's in the care of the postal carrier.  if your order is delayed, please reach out to the carrier directly using your tracking number.  if a package is marked as delivers but you didn't receive it, email us at hello@freckledacres.com and we'll do our best to help.

WRONG ADDRRESS DISCLAIMER:

please double-check your shipping address before completing your order.  we're not responsible for packages sent to the wrong address.

return and exchange policies

all of our products are handmade in small batches, and we stand behind the care and quality that goes into every order.

because of the nature of our skincare and candle products, all sales are final.  we do not accept returns or exchanges unless an item has arrived damaged or defective.

if your order arrives with an issue:

-please email us at hello@freckledacres.com within 3 days of delivery

-include your order number, a description of the issue, and a photo if applicable

-we'll make it right with a replacement or shop credit when appropriate

PLEASE NOTE:

we do not accept returns for exchange of scent preference or minor cosmetic imperfections in packaging (we're handmade, not factory perfect)
